The Project

Do you ever enter a space so inspiring you have a visceral urge to create? That’s what happened to our creative team at the Langley Hotel, part of the Marriott Luxury Collection. We were commissioned to make a fly-through film showcasing different spaces in and around the hotel, but felt it within us to tell a deeper story.

We crafted and pitched a nostalgic, emotional story that would not only indirectly promote the 5 star hotel with its opulent interiors and exteriors, but hold true to the building’s essence: a modern renovation of a timeless heritage. The weaving of past and present, a multi-generational story-line, and romanticism magnifies the overall experience of the hotel as one that’ll never be forgotten.

Timeless Moments

Close-up, flashback portraits of the children at the end of the film caused many a tear in the clients’ eyes (and also in the office). We shot lifestyle photography of The Langley during and alongside a narrative-based promotional film, capturing the romanticism and timeless heritage of the hotel and its location.
