Wonderhatch continued with our class leading major photography assignment project for The Jockey Club at the recent Investec Derby Festival at Epsom, building on the work previously delivered at the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National Festival and the Guineas Festival earlier this year.
With a team of six photographers and two editors, led by our very own Bob Martin, we were once again embedded into The Jockey Club’s very own content team, delivering ‘live’ pictures within 60 seconds of capture for use across all of The Jockey Club’s social and digital channels.
A host of remote cameras in pretty funky positions were on-hand to support our sports specialists. Together with our lifestyle photographers capturing all of the colour off-course, we were able to provide a phenomenal set of pictures across the 2 racing days, plus the preview day.
The photography was delivered once again via our very own and very beautiful live content platform, and then distributed immediately to the world’s media via our partner Shutterstock, leading to great coverage in a number of the leading nationals.
Alongside all of this, we had a separate team shooting for Investec at the Derby Festival, capturing very specific brand and activation content for them, again across both racing and the social aspects of this fantastic event.
